Art work is drawn with bold pencil to capture the spirit and vibrance of the pet. Then the drawing is painted with water base paints on natural rice paper that is collaged to a canvas board. The final step is a protective seal that enhances the color and protects the painting.

She works in water color, acrylics, and fabric dyes.
The Fabric dye techniques include gutta resist, Japanese Rozome (wax resist), stenciling, Shibori, natural dyeing and many other techniques.
Backround
Ange studied with Betsy Sterling Benjamin, a renowned textile artist and author, at the University of Minnesota. She learned about the boldness and intricacies of water color under the direction of the esteemed artist, Cheng Khee Chee.
Ange first developed her skills at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Chautauqua Institute of New York. With a degree in commercial art and fashion illustration, Ange launched her career. As a professional artist she illustrated fashion for department stores and advertising agencies.
She continued her studies at Syracuse University where she received a Masters of Fine Arts Degree. Her work continues to evolve in the fine arts and is recognized for its vibrant sense of motion and color.
Ange has shown her work in art galleries and at fine art shows. in the York, Pa., Philadelphia, Pa., Baltimore, Md., and Atlanta, Ga. areas.
Her Fine Art work enhances the ambience of restaurants, health care facilities, corporate businesses, and private homes along the east coast.
